Update from Eric on 8/13/07:
After Hope, I went down to NMSU along with several of our classmembers. I studied government and communication studies with the intention of getting involved in NM politics. Eventually, I gave up on politics and decided to go to law school.
In 1994 I started law school at UNM. Law school's not too fun, so I was glad to wrap that up in 1997. Steve Thompson also started UNM Law in my last year there.
After working for an ABQ law firm for a few years, I went to work as in house counsel for a contract pharmaceutical manufacturer in ABQ called SP Pharmaceuticals.
I found love in 2000 when I met a woman named Dana Thomas. We started dating and got engaged after only a few months. After only a few more months, we got married on January 6, 2001. We're a great match and have great fun together!
In 2001, the company I worked for was bought by Cardinal Health. Cardinal is headquartered in Dublin, Ohio and we moved there that year. I never expected to move away from NM, but that's what we did. We've been in Ohio ever since, but still miss NM.
In January 2005, we were blessed with an amazing little boy that we named Jonah Thomas Christensen. I love being a dad SOOOO much! It is definitely FAR better than I ever thought it would be.... which is great because...
In February, 2007, we were blessed with another amazing gift... a little girl that we named Noelle Sterling Christensen. (The middle names are family names). She is a super cutey and I can't wait to get to know her as she starts growing into a little girl.
Right now, I'm VP, Associate General Counsel for the Generic Pharmaceuticals group at Cardinal. We still hope to go back to NM one day to be with our families, but for now, this is where God has us!
Oh yeah, we've got two basenji dogs too (Pippa and Hidalgo). They love it in Ohio because they've got room to run.

Our basenjis, Pippa and Hidalgo.

June 2007: the Christensen Crew (sans dogs).

Our house is on a river and we get some interesting visitors. Turtles crawl up the bank in the spring to lay eggs. This turtle is about 8-9 inches long, but we've had bigger!
